A little about me…

I am happily married to my best friend, the love of my life, and together we’re raising four wonderful children. Raised in a family-friendly and Mayberry-like Midwestern community, my heart never truly left! Hence, I am a wife and mother who finds joy in the simple things, such as dark chocolate, hot tea, and a good book. I enjoy hiking, watercolor, and theology, but my favorite pastime is celebrating meaningful, seasonal traditions with my family.

While obtaining my degree in psychology, I immersed myself in literature related to child development, a passion that continues to shape the rhythms and values of our home. From waiting until high school for smartphones, to keeping family meals media-free, we are working to create a welcoming and joyful home, while shaping our family culture through thoughtful, intentional choices.

For us, simple living isn’t about owning less, it’s about making more room for the everyday moments that matter most, like Saturday morning pancakes, bike rides, bedtime stories, and living with intention.
